The New Addition Seems to be Working Out. I Think We'll Keep Her

Just a quick update for y'all.

Our daughter was born healthy (7lbs 6 oz) and beautiful at 9:33 am on Thursday Nov. 5, a day that will live in the annals of Caesarian section history. I say that because the anesthesiologist himself told me that I set some sort of world record for vomiting during the entire procedure.

Fun times.

If you want to know the name we picked out, email me and I'll tell you. Think, uh, designer clothing label. Or a famous actress.

But, it truly is the beginning of fun times. She is such a joy, such a good, good baby. Which I really think I deserved because I endured such hell with Mr. P.

So, I am not too sleep deprived, Mr. P is a fantastic big brother, and all is good in my world right now.

Thanks, Universe, for listening.

Congratulations to both you and Caesar although it sounds as though you had a Brutus time of it. (Give me credit for trying,eh?)

HURRAY!
I'm so glad to hear she's working out ok and that you're going to keep her. What? that wasn't the big news?

I'm so glad she's here and wonderfully good, you know except that whole puking part. I don't really want to hear about that part because that is one of my greatest fears. That and being able to feel it all.

Congratulations!

She is birthday twin to my mom.

I threw up a ton with my last section too. It seems each one gets worse in that regard. I am glad that you got the mellow baby you needed and I hope that she keeps that up. Have fun with your baby, they grow up way too fast!
SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Give that baby girl a huge big nuzzle on the back of her neck (the bestest part of ALL!) from me.

And give yourself a huge hug.

MWAH!

YAY! I'm SO thrilled for you. I'm SO happy. Congratulations, and I'm glad you survived the crap of childbirth. That part sucks. Now you get the best part...the baby.

Yay again!

At least you didn't name her after your Birth Experience...something like Vomica or Hurley. LOL. Much joy to you all.

Yesssss! Congratulations, expanding family! Sorry about all the vomiting. I did not realize that was a hazard of the C. I'll email you because of course I need to know her name. Wait--is it Trina?

Oh yay! Personally I think girls are a bit more easy going as babies but I have been warned that things change a hell of a lot when they get older. YIKES. Enjoy your princess. I Miss the new baby days....well not really :-)
I'm glad to hear you are doing well.
