Perhaps some of you may have noticed, but the real estate market is beginning a tumble in prices that benefit us, prospective buyers. And we're going to wait. That is cold, cold comfort to those such as J and Py , who are attempting to sell their place as we speak. But, we're not going to wait too much longer, if that makes them feel any better. There is no sense trying to time the bottom of the market, and we have been putting off moving, oh, since Mr. P was born because of the huge runup in prices. So huge that at one point, we could barely afford to buy our own place from ourselves. We should be ok even if we sell at a lower price than we could have gotten say, two years ago. We have, however, a dilemma. We have narrowed our choices down to two cities. And we are stuck there. We just can't figure out which city is better, and they are oh-so-different. Let me give you a rundown. City 1 Older, smaller houses (in our price range) Larger lots Beach city Infrastructure

All new appliances were delivered last Saturday ALL BRAND SPANKING NEW ... the REPLACEMENT fridge was delivered yesterday 'cuz the new one didn't work. How do I know that? The next morning all my ice cream was melted, everything thawed and my house was colder than inside the refrigerator.
Now the best part, it was a model changeover time and everything I picked out to MATCH ... isn't available anymore so the new fridge doesn't match the dishwasher, stove& microwave. The new look is so NEW, they aren't available yet, so now I have to wait ... a month. They did leave the range and dishwasher for me to use until then.
Sorry you asked? LOL
Sorry about your undies and all...
last appliance replaced... my gas range
Last appliance I had to replace was the microwave. And I really had to deliberate: do I NEED a microwave, really? My husband just stood there, mouth agape. A life without a microwave is not one he wants to live.
Still need to replace? The washer and drier. Ours is still working, but barely, and I just know it's about to give up the ghost, as it were. Sucky. I do enjoy HAVING new appliances. It's the paying for them part that sucks hole.
Seriously, vacuum. I go through shitloads of vacumms...

I had to replace a toaster this year. All in all, no biggie. Are you going to get one of those fancy front loaders?
