Ouch!

The next time I try to "challenge" myself and give myself "extra motivation" on my walk and make finishing the entire walk (including a mighty steep hill at the end) the condition upon which I can reach my car and drive home, please hit me over the head with a frying pan.

Because I think it would hurt less.

I think next time you should have a gallon of Ice Cream waiting for you inside the car. First of all you would have to walk faster so you could get to it before it melted and second of all, it would taste really good after a nice work out.

Aaagh. I'm sorry. I walk everyday and am intimately familiar with The Walk That Went Too Far. Hope you're feeling better. :)

Idiot. *snort*

Morning decision? Cause morning decisions are always the stupidest I believe.

Well lesson learned. Now walk over here the frying pan is ready.....
Oh dear...but I like captain corky's suggestion as added motivation...

You should probably repeat the same workout today. That'll work the kinks out. I feel your pain though!

I'm afraid I can't make you that promise. Do it again today! You'll be the better for it. If it didn't hurt, it wouldn't be doing much good.:-)

Now drop and give me 20!

Corky is right. Ice cream...and a few dozen Advil.

Definitely Advil, but don't forget to pat yourself on the back. With any challenge comes a bit (or a lot) of pain.

Pushing yourself to go that extra mile/step/what have you is a good thing, but there's a fine line between "let's go for the burn" and "Oh crap, I think I've hurt myself."

"...why would one ever even think of doing that?"

(Nance furrows brow and thinks of ordering chocolate martini in lieu of dinner entree.)

Ouch. Hope you've recovered by now. I'm getting ready to go pop a couple Advil after my morning PT session...
I will never hit you with a frying pan.

Cheer you on, yes.

Split a pint of ice cream, maybe. Depends on the flavor.

But never hit you with a frying pan.

But keep it up! In two weeks, the walk that went to far will seem like easy peasy, I swear!

No pain, no gain...I know, what a load of crap.
Ouch!! I just started working out again last week after a month or more hiatus...and lets just say I had a hard time getting my butt down to the toilet. I hate being sore!!!
