:( Hope you feel better soon. Is it like, Murphy's law or something, that if you get sick, it's always during the holiday season?
We aren't really a coaster kind of family. But that's probably more becaue all of our living room table-type furniture is glass-topped. Easily wiped.
Except for our newly padded coffee table/ottoman, which we can't put any sort of drink on because a certain someone in this house likes to pull things off of it.
It sucks so bad to be sick at this time of year. So sorry!
Coasters - I only use them when we're playing cards on the dining room table. Because that's about the only piece of furniture I own with a finish that is worth preserving. If you overlook the spot where the babysitter poured nail polish remover all over it.
Feel better, says the girl who owns coasters that sit right on the end table, but nobody ever manages to use. They were a Christmas gift from my son that he picked out on his annual "Shopping Trip with Daddy" day two years ago.
We have coasters.. the cats use them all the time for tug of war with each other.. and to hide under the couch.. but us?? ehh.. not so much Feel better sunshine!!
ugh. i'm sorry you're sick. i hope you feel better soon!
we use coasters all the time because most of our furniture is wood. though i have left some lovely marks because i have not used a coaster and have gotten in lot's of trouble... ;)
Yes, in the living room where we have decent wooden tables besides chairs and sofa. They weren't used on a nightstand, unfortunately, and it is now ruined.
I'm sorry to hear you are sick. So much for willing wellness.
So sorry you are still ill. No we don't use coasters, we purposefully have a very old and worn coffee table in the living room which can be abused by all. I plan on getting a new fancy one in about 14 years.
Does a paper towel count? I don't worry about the kitchen table which I wipe down after each meal (although I make sure nothing sticky gets set there) but I hate to clean up a coffee cup ring or crumbs in the living room every time I turn around.

And, to answer you question, no.

And, yes, we use coasters. There are coasters all over this damn house. My favorites feature horrible scenes from Twin Peaks.
Feel better!

Seriously? Sometimes.
Coasters, what are those? Actually we have one coaster for the computer desk and that is it.
Yes we are coaster people, for the most part.
Feel better sunshine!!

Feel better lady....
Get well soon!
Coasters? I'm sure we have some skulling around the place somewhere. I think it's more that we don't have any decent furniture to protect!
Cheers
This is my calling card or link"Whittereronautism"until blogger comments get themselves sorted out.

Uh, no...
And do you prefer writing with a blue or black ink?
Somebody should start "The Non-Sequitors Meme..." Hopefully I spelled that right anyway.
And coasters? You'd better believe it. Under penalty of death.
