A week ago Friday my Beloved's cancer Dr told him, are you ready..."you're a lucky man"

Beloved's cancer is still "smoldering" and that is a good thing! We expected the bad news. Thank God we were wrong.

Your news, although in no way happening to me, is the closest to a great surprise of my own. Unless you count the quarter I found on the ground yesterday in front of 7-11. Let's not count that.

I love the lack of bad cancer news here, and the master's exam! Excellent. I had a very good interview for a job I would like to have on Friday. Yay me! I don't know if it was a surprise or not, but it's good nonetheless.
