I would love a fully finished basement that had a bathroom so that I don't have to keep running upstairs every five seconds when I need to go.

A bigger kitchen.

Only 1? How about 1000 more square feet, and I'll make refinements later. ;)

Although I love being on a big hill, I wish the street didn't have cars that speed up and down at 60 miles an hour. It would be nice if the kids could ride their bikes in front of the house, but that is way too dangerous.

I'd take out all the carpet and replace it with hardwood floors. Then I'd re-do the entire kitchen. Sorry, I couldn't stop at one.

Increase its value to at least what I paid.

2 more bedrooms so that each child would have their own pig sty ...

So many projects, so unable to choose. Probably the dark scary, basement laundry room. I delay doing laundry until I MUST. DO. LAUNDRY. because the laundry room is so dark and scary...

The laundry room. It was destroyed by the previous tenants and was the only room not repaired. Hopefully we can repair it before our new washer and dryer comes.

I'm with Awesome Mom--I want a finished basement, but I don't even need a bathroom down there.

I'm so easy!

Bigger! My house is so small, the only thing that helps me not feel claustrophobic in it, is that my closest neighbor is 1/4 mile away.

Put a basement underneath it. The crawl space is big enough to stand up in, but it would be nice to dig it out and have a finished basement.

Yeah, yeah, it's Monday and I'm answering a Friday poll. I'm thinking you don't mean the carpet, so I'd have a garage rather than just a covered carport. But, honestly, we found a perfect home which I still adore, eight years later.
