You know, I just can't get over this whole issue. It's starting to create a slight divide in our house since Dummy leans towards to Republican side of things ... now you fully understand why I call him "Dummy", huh??

The Republicans don't have a monopoly on hypocrisy. Politics is rife with hypocrisy and rhetoric. That's how the game is played. This surprises you? (I don't mean to snark; I'm genuinely curious. You seem out of sorts with the turn politics has taken lately, and I guess I'm surprised you are so upset.)

I don't have much to add to this, other that there are plenty of other things Sarah Palin can be criticized for, and all harping on Bristol's pregnancy is doing is stirring up the Republican base.

As I noted previously, that's the reason McCain added Palin to the ticket, to get the base excited. It gets McCain few new votes, apart from those few insane feminists who think Obama is sexist. But that's how the GOP thinks - that if they get their base out, that's enough to win. And if that doesn't work, call the Supreme Court...
