Holiday Poems
'Twas the day before Christmas and all through the house
Gina was running around thinking, my god, haven't I finished it all yet?
The baking couldn't be done for a new garbage disposal we had to get
and install, which took pretty much all day.
When they finished, I looked at the clock I said to myself, "No way!"
I haven't got time to even start what I need to do.
So then Gina said to everyone, "Well, it looks like no cookies for you!"
And that, my friends, is why I don't write poetry more often.
I love you all.
I wish you a happy, joyful, and merry Christmas indeed!

I've really enjoyed reading your blog over the past few months - and hope there'll be lots more to read in the new year (with or without poetry).
Heidi :)
I liked your poem and wouldn't mind seeing a little more of them in the future :)
Also, thanks for the Calvin and Hobbes- you know they are my favs :)
Have a wonderful Christmas babe. I know that Santa will bring you something extra special cause you deserve it.
Ho Ho Ho!!!
From my family to you and yours - we wish you a very, very Merry Christmas. I hope the day brings you lots of love, laughter, joy and memories for a lifetime.
I am so tickled that I "found" a new bloggy friend.
Hugs -
Margaret
Seriously though, I hope you and your family are having a wonderful Christmas celebration, even though it is sans cookies. (What will you leave for Santa?)
Merry Christmas!
I've been busy attending to sick people, buying more than I should have, and drama...always drama! It makes the merry more merrier...right? Yes, I thought so.
Good luck to you in 2008! Oy, I cringe when I see it written. ;)
