Lots of ...I used to broil myself on the beach too. Lots of baby oil and turn every 15 minutes right? Goodness what we did to our skin when we were young.

A good tan just looks so much nicer than this pale pasty look I have at the end of March. With a tan I feel taller and thinner somehow. How does that work anyway?

Sigh, I have the SPF 60 ready for my face this summer, and will slather SPF 30 on my arms and legs and walk around in all my pasty glory for the first few weeks of the season. Yuck! In spite of the sunscreen I do tan up a bit and look healthier by the end of the summer. Just can't help it when we are out on the bikes so much.

A tan looks great and I do tan easily and hardly ever burn, but it just isn't worth it. I have some sun damage spots on my face that are heading towards the pre-cancerous stage, so sunscreen and sunhats it is for me.

I have a funny story about self-tanners that I must post on my blog. Stay tuned for that one. It is a hoot.Cuppahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06015697402688623317noreply@blogger.com
